HOW TO APPLY FOR NBI CLEARANCE ONLINE?
- To apply for an NBI Clearance Online, you will need to create an account on the NBI website.
- Once you have created your account, you will be able to fill out the online application form.
- You will need to provide your personal information, as well as the purpose of your application.
- You will also need to provide a valid ID and a passport-size photo.
- Once your application is complete, you will need to pay the application fee.

STEP 1: NBI CLEARANCE ONLINE ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

- By clicking the “Sign Up” button, a reminder box will appear. To confirm, click “Yes.”
- Login to your account by entering your email address and password after you’ve received a confirmation of registration on the screen.
- Please complete the NBI Clearance Application Form and then click “Save the Information” when you are finished.
- Click the “Save” option after you’ve reviewed all of your information. If you’re updating your personal details, click “Edit.” Then click “Save.”
- Click the “Apply for Clearance” button if you are finished filling it out.
- A confirmation box will appear. Enter the valid ID number that you will present when applying for your NBI clearance.. (Note: Though only one ID is being asked for on this step, you are still required to bring two valid IDs to your scheduled appointment.
- Click the “I Agree” button.
STEP 2: NBI CLEARANCE ONLINE APPOINTMENT

- The Online Appointment page will appear once your online registration is done.
- Choose an NBI branch where you want to submit your application from the drop-down menu that indicates an NBI branch when creating your timetable for personal appearance.
- After you select an NBI branch, a calendar will appear with the open slots (blue boxes) from your chosen branch.
- Choose your preferred date and time.
STEP 3: PAY FOR THE NBI CLEARANCE FEE
- Bank over the counter: You may pay cash over the counter to any bank, including Metrobank, Chinabank, Security Bank, Landbank, BDO, BPI (formerly known as Philippine Rural Banks), PNB (formerly known as Philippine National Bank), RCBC.
- Online Bank: You can pay the processing fees through online banking facilities, such as BDO Internet Banking, BPI Express Online, Unionbank EON, etc.
- Bayad Center Outlets:Pay in cash at any Bayad Center Outlets or at any of our partner outlets such as LBC, Palawan Pawnshop, Villarica Pawnshop, Cebuana Lhuillier, Waltermart, Robinsons SM Savemore and many more.

If you receive a “hit” on your NBI Clearance, it means that the system has found a record of your name that is linked to either a criminal case or an administrative case. You will need to bring the original copy of the document that was used to get the “hit” and present it to the NBI branch where you submitted your clearance application. The NBI Clearance staff will review the document and determine if you are still eligible to obtain an NBI Clearance.
How can I verify if my NBI clearance is fake or valid?
To verify if your NBI Clearance is fake or valid, you can check the barcode on the upper right corner of the document. If the barcode is scanning properly, it means that your clearance is valid.
I’ve already used/submitted both copies of my NBI clearance. Can I request for additional copies?
